This is a spinner with the yellow egg sac attached. If you prefer you may leave out the egg sac.<\/span><\/p>\n

Materials:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Hook:<\/strong> Size 10 or 12 2X trout hook<\/span><\/p>\n

Thread:<\/strong> Black 6\/0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wing:<\/strong> Light <\/span>grey antron<\/p>\n

Tail:<\/strong> Grey <\/span>microfibbets<\/p>\n

Egg Sac:<\/strong> Chartreuse floss.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dubbing:<\/strong> 50:50 blend of Spectrablend brown olive and Muncher nymph seal fur.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tying Instructions:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mash down the barb of the hook and place in vise.<\/span><\/p>\n

Run thread from 1 mm from eye to half way down the shaft, and then return back to the centre of the wrappings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Take a 1 1\/2 inch clump of <\/span>antron and tie in at that <\/span>centre point using figure 8 wraps:<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Advance the thread to a point over the barb of the hook and tie in 3 or 4 <\/span>microfibbets\u00a0as a tail.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Make 4 or 5 wraps of the floss at the base of the tail and secure down with thread:<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Trim the excess floss:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Apply the dubbing sparsely<\/strong><\/span> toward the rear of the wing:<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Use figure of 8 dubbing wraps to hold the wings horizontally and at right angles to the thorax of the fly. <\/span><\/p>\n

Trim the wings approximately to the length of the body and whip finish:<\/span><\/p>\n

Presentation:<\/strong> Fish the fly in\u00a0a dead drift at tailouts or in foamy sections of the stream.<\/span><\/p>\n
