Dimitri gave an overview of the lifecycle of the stonefly.
He revealed the nymphal stages and the reproductive cycle of the fly, and gave some tips on presentation of the fly on the river. He then demonstrated his tying techniques:
He also introduced us to the, newly-introduced, Hemingway’s Frosty Flies components that are being retailed across Canada.
